Not pointless from the perspective of resource control and monetary restructuring. WWI broke the gold standard, WWII cemented dollar dominance under Bretton Woods. The pattern repeats: sound money → trade → military expansion → debasement → conflict. The tragedy is the human cost paid to advance this cycle. What breaks the pattern — voluntary sound money adoption or collapse?
