To be fair that's really similar to the #Fediverse, right? The main benefits I see of #Nostr are account portability and increased censorship resistance.

Account portability is the main thing. At least for me it is. There are aspects of Fedi that are the same but its the freedom of portability that's the biggest feature. The tie-ins between Fedi and nostr are happening and it's going to create something that's impossible to describe but I suspect it...
