Hey #Scala folks, something I’ve never figured out is why whenever Metals start up, it recompiles the entire project, which takes about 20 on my computer. It doesn’t keep a cache around? Is this a problem with my setup? Or is it expected?

If you use Mill instead of sbt, and set the flag to make mill and the bsp build use the same build output then it's a little better. I'm very hopeful...
