I know. I got a signed copy of that book at Bitcoin 2025. I like it, but it seems to me that the fact that the "code is sovereign" means there is no single person who can make an exception.
I heard you say something similar. Bitcoin can change, but it requires consensus from like 95% of the network.
That means The People are Sovereign and not subject to a Carl Schmidt type of dictator. Maybe that's the point he was actually trying to make. I still need to read the last chapter.
