Bitcoin maxis are very similar to leftists. They’re radical, dogmatic, and toxic; they don’t accept being questioned. They call themselves enlightened, knowing the supreme truth, and they signal v...
It depends on "WHO" are those "bitcoin maxis" you're referring to. Here in nostr, I've seen lots of those kind of bitcoin users you're complaining about. They are corny as fuck. They are just a bunch of hippies at their middle age crisis who want to belong to something "revolutionary"; unfortunately, they also achieve that sense of belonging by disparaging Monero and its users . They say XMR is a "shitcoin" and they actively ignore and dismisses you for liking Monero, even if you do like Bitcoin too. They're pathetic as hell.
---Starts a personal opinion---
And what I fucking hate the most about them, is all this mainstream crap they do to feel and pretend being part of this "rebellion". I'll give you an example, a coffee shop that accepts bitcoin payments; everything fine and all until you realize that coffee shop is so "Bitcoin" oriented. A large fuck ass B of bitcoin in the wall, chairs with Bs on them, the coffee shop it's called BitCoffee or some shit like that. Man, I just want to go for a normal coffee and spend on BTC or XMR, doesn't mean you have to do all this crap. I rather go to a fucking normal coffee shop and just be able to use my btc or xmr to buy shit, I don't want to see all this corny mainstream crap.
Not because a coffee shop or whatever shop accepts dollars, it has to be decorated with a big ass dollar sign ($) all over it's fucking wall.

Also is true, they love sucking Saylor's cock too much.
And I'm gonna say something. I believe that Silk Road did more for bitcoin by using it as an exchange coin than what Saylor is doing for it (literally nothing but hoarding bitcoin and not even using it).
In short words, not all Bitcoin users are like this, just the mainstream ones or as they usually name themselves: bitcoin maxis.
