The World Cup has lost its appeal for me. I like football. Sometimes I'm interested in club football and in some phases less so. But the World Cup was always a big deal for me ever since I was eleven...

I was at the Argentina vs Egypt game.
The last 20 minutes of the game, Egyptian players were gassed out. The coach should have did a full sub and parked the bus.
Egypt was up 2-0 in the 78th minute.
They only have themselves to blame.

Watch the full replay of the 3rd goal by Argentina. Only two Egyptian players tracked back to defend. The two Argentinian players were on full sprint while the Egyptian players were jogging back.

Regarding VAR that cancelled Egypt’s goal. That was a foul against Egypt.
The reason the ref lets the play go is because now they can use VAR after the fact. The point of VAR is to let the game flow without too many whistle by the ref.
If Egypt did not score the goal, then the ref lets the game continue.

Argentina will lose to Switzerland, they’re not a good team.

Sorry. It was one of the most corrupt refereeing/VAR world cup games I have ever had the misfortune to watch. Shocking.
