After I watched a video of a guy in his 40's being pressured into cringely sing in one of those places, I decided not to ever step inside a brazilian maid cafe.. it's small surprise those places being as poser as it's possible to get

Maid cafés are closely tied to Japanese otaku culture and idol culture, so thinking you can replicate them just by throwing together a bunch of overweight e-girls in cheap costumes comes off as pretty cringe.
