Serious question. Would it be considered extractive to keep borrowing fiat against Bitcoin on the assumption that Bitcoin will always go up relative to fiat? And if you take advantage of an exploitative system (fiat) in that way, is that an act of survival or a form of participation in the system? I’m not saying don’t use your Bitcoin as collateral to do things, I guess what I’m wrestling with is it seems adopting the idea of alway borrow never sell is just participating in the fiat ponzi, but with Bitcoin. I don’t know, maybe it’s seen as a way to accelerate the end of fiat? Maybe it’s a cheat code? Maybe it doesn’t matter. 🤷
