Context: A guy on the Helldivers 2 subreddit issued the devs a challenge, beat a mission on the planet Oshaune on the highest difficulty to prove that the game needs better balancing. He even offered a $1000 donation to any charity the devs chose, even if they didn’t accept the challenge. In response some redditor(s) decided to doxx, give death threats, and harass him, his work, and the horse shelter he volunteered at until he was fired and banned from the shelter.
