Rap was born as protest. It's so dense because it comes out of contexts of struggle and collective consciousness.

Though sometimes imperative, it isn't made for passive minds: it's not about you relating to it, it's about it teaching you something, or about you trying to do it better.

Foyone is an underground rapper from Spain, and to me he's a good way to connect with my poem «Hiperbóreos». Just like with Nietzsche, understanding these three takes a learning curve: it's not just about reading and watching, but about internalizing until you feel it, and even then being able to pull something new out of the trance.

Everyone decides who to be: their obsession, their message, their path. It's all our own choice. Documenting it in a poem, a book or a song is just a way of saying: this is who I am. I love reading and learning; I wish you'd study too, so we all do well. But in the end, it's your call.
