You said “heroic”. This narrative that somehow spaniards were heroes because they’re way of killing didn’t involve ripping hearts out is trite and historically false. Laughable that they look down on “savages” yet burned people alive for their beliefs.

Don’t get me wrong I love spanish history though. I’ve to spain three times and my last name is Hernandez. Orellana for example was a true savage in the best way possible. A man who looked fate in the eye and said fuck you.
