Had a good back-and-forth with a gold bug at the Bitcoin meetup tonight.

He hit me with the classic — an ounce of gold has always bought a finely tailored suit.

On the drive home, I kept thinking about it… A Bitcoin? It used to buy a nice suit. Now it buys a whole wardrobe—and soon, an entire tailor shop.
