Just because they lived to be 94, 100, or whatever, doesn't mean they or anyone would be fit to run at those ages, like, lets say someone was 94 years old, always dreamed about running, and finally took the plunge, should we allow it? I do agree aboutthe cognitive tests though, but wouldn't some sort of limitation be a good thing, do you really think someone in there early 90's would be able to run and do well in office given the chance? Your right though, I maybe couldn't provide evidence that age aquaits to cognitive loss, diseases like dementia or other diseases can happen to anyone at any age really, even someone my age which is scary, but its at least something to raise your eyebrows at if a person who's lived past their 80's wants also to gain ultimate power.
