Rumble just made it so you have to log in to vote 'like' for something. I'm sure they'll say it was a change to counter bots or something, but the actual reason is because they want to start tracking your interests and likes, which will be used against you in the future. You vote 'like' on an anti-Israel genocide video? Now that sentiment is going to be tagged to you forever more, and they will sell that to governments or whoever wants to know about you.

That might not matter much to you now, but what happens when they roll out the social credit score? They will retroactively create your score from your known history of likes and dislikes to begin punishing what they don't like about you.

Rumble is not open-source or distributed; it is a propriatary and centralized platform. This means it is highly vulnerable to future unhappy changes such as this one—unlike open-source and distributed platforms such as Odysee. Even Bitchute is better, because while it is not open-source (so it may be hiding tracking stuff), it is a distributed network (thus less vulnerable to censorship.)
