In a less commercial setting it’s likely better. Do you still have to cut tails and teeth and give vaccinations when you’re neutering the males? I got used to it but I had a hard time as a kid doing the tails in particular. Just about flaked out a couple times on the first day. I was only 8 or 9 when I started working there lol
