Speaking of bloated slop ... Adobe Acrobat Reader. Just to quickly open and read a PDF file. Why does it need over 2 GB of hard disk space?

I think there needs to be a movement, similar to open source, but focused on software that is stable and efficient.
Bells and whistles don't matter if the software crashes, can't be installed because of bloat, or so cluttered that using key features becomes impractical.
