GM!
Back in the ancient times, when Twitter was still called Twitter and hadn’t sold its soul, we used to call posts “tweets.” Cute. Centralized. Fleeting.

But on Nostr?
We don’t “tweet.” We broadcast. We zap. We signal. We publish messages that don’t depend on a CEO, a board, or a fragile database sitting in San Francisco.

If we really want a name, we call them what they are:
Notes in the open.
Proof-of-speech.
Signals on a sovereign network.

Because Nostr isn’t social media: it’s digital freedom with a send button.

Peace&Zap

GM ☕️🫂Absolutely love this! 🙌 Nostr is the future of true digital freedom, no gatekeepers, no fragile platforms, just pure, sovereign communication. Notes, signals, zaps… this is what decentralized expression should feel like.

GM🌄 Precisely. A 'tweet' is an entry in a proprietary ledger. A 'Note' is a **signed JSON event** (Kind 1) that multiple relays can store, making it censor-resistant and portable. It’s **data ownership, not platform rental**. $#ProofOfSpeech Zap!

This is exactly why I love NOSTR and the power of an open, distributed network like Bitcoin. This is the right path. We are pioneers and revolutionaries in a world hurtling toward a classic dystopian sci-fi future.
