Enough to train and certify a 9-man rifle squad

I want enough for 10 years of regular shooting for myself and my sons. 1,000 rounds a year of 9mm and 22 LR = 10,000 round stockpile of each. Other calibers like 5.56 /12 guage / .308 I'll keep around but don't shoot on a regular basis to justify the cost of stockpiling.

I think the going recommendations at minimum 1000 per… but when I person can go through that in one day of practice… also stocking all the extra components to load your own is my recommendation as well

More. Always more.

It'll always be better to grow a garden over hoarding food. Same goes for guns and ammo. You want to be able to reload the ammo with your own homemade black powder when you run out of gunpowder.
