After editing published articles written by AI, I can honestly say that AI cannot write well at all.
The articles have constant run-on sentences, and regular misuse of punctuation. Most of the sentences are broken into pieces that increase complexity and destroy readability. There will be entire parapraphs that either repeat what was already stated, state the obvious (to anyone old enough to read), or are just "word salad".
