You’d appreciate my wild theory, and I think it’s a good one:

It’s not about replacing us, per se, it’s about replacing the income they generate off of us.

You see, we don’t make enough babies to replace ourselves, so we march a bunch of South Americans through the Darien gap to import the fittest.

America will literally die in 100 years (on current trends, assuming we don’t import new people), because we can’t figure out how to have enough babies…

And the problem with making it easier to afford to have more babies is that decreases profitability of running government, so that will never happen.
