Core fucking sucks, it's their fault for releasing shitty consensus Taproot software but BIP-110 sucks even more because it doesn't do anything besides limit op return. It doesn't even stop ordinals.

It stops Ordinals in its current form and destroys their shelling point. The will have to rebuild everything from scratch. And when Knots is the dominant client after BIP110, our *working* new filters will take care of their new scheme a lot faster than any consensus change.

They don't have to build everything from scratch. They need to update inscription software, parsers and indexers. AI can update the code in a minute. It's a mild nuisance for them that does nothing to stop them. New filters won't do anything when the 5 mining pools can just continue to not use the...
