Remember when I was bitching about this brand new machine where they didn’t put fans into the cabinet with the 110kw motor drives.

I have found out they actually put in breakers and a thermostat for it.

And more importantly. These big motors are water cooled. And they out in a valve to control the flow. I guess. But then hang on why is it over 210F hot on the outside of the motor….
Turns out they did not plan to wire in the thermal probes in the motor. At all.
