The most useful question in any debate: what evidence would change your mind? If nothing can change it, you're not holding a position. You're holding an identity. And identities don't debate. They just defend.

This pattern repeats in every technology cycle. The closed system launches first, polished and controlled. Then the open version catches up, slower at first, then faster. The difference is that open systems can be forked. Closed systems can only be escaped.
