Does anyone else when watching Star Trek things assume they’re just saying a random string of numbers for the star date of their captain’s log or whatever, and would rather keep imagining it’s probably a running joke or a code than bothering to not zone out every time someone is saying the star date or look up if they actually have a standard, boring date system?
