The war for Bitcoin is lost unfortunately. Most cypherpunks (and darknet market vendors who require p2p digital cash) have moved to Monero for transactions. Due to technological ossification and KYC/AML regulations, Bitcoin is doomed to be a impotent tech stock for now and evermore.

Until we see some serious leaps in one gain privacy (perhaps similar to MWEB with Litecoin), this is fate. The recent civil war between Knots and Core absolutely does not inspire confidence in Bitcoin future as p2p cash which is a tragedy.
