One of the main challenges I see today hindering bitcoin mainstream adoption is the lack of an international on-ramp.

Some people are lucky, others are not. I come from a place where bitcoin is illegal to obtain through fiat rails.

Bank transfers to exchanges? Blocked.
Buy with credit cards? Blocked.
P2P? Depends on your luck.

I'm one of those lucky ones who has an international bank account that I can use to buy bitcoin. Others don't.
