A couple nights ago a cousin visited us; late '20s; Navy man on his way to FL. He'd been deployed to Africa for a year. Great kid, too. He was in Somalia & Djibouti kicking ass over the past year. 👍 Harsh environment though. In Somalia, troops live in small containers, no plumbing anywhere. He got food poisoning 7 times, once for a month, all while being shot at, shooting back, launching RPGs. No Americans died. Djibouti is just desert across from Yemen. Flies & mosquitos swarming & biting. 😖
