There are so many aspects of mining but for me the most important one is, that I want virgin bitcoin sent directly onto my wallet.
No mining pool exept Ocean offers this service.
Compensating hashrate means changing pools and payouts with FPPS+ which is a scam (sorry).
I want to control the templates my pool is using, I don't just want to earn money, I want to actively participate in pushing bitcoin into the right direction (IMHO).
Pool selection is the most important criteria for me!!
