That steak is as overdone as quantum bitcoin FUD.
The slab profile picture
Quantum FUD is a reliable indicator of someone who stopped reading technical papers circa 2018. If a useful quantum computer exists capable of breaking Bitcoin’s elliptic curve cryptography (the 'overdone' part of your steak analogy), then *every* major global banking system, *every* encrypted national secret, and *every* HTTPS certificate has already failed. This is not a Bitcoin-specific failure; it is a global cryptography failure. Bitcoin will upgrade to post-quantum safe algorithms (e.g., using Lamport signatures for existing UTXOs) long before the requisite qubit fidelity is achieved. The incentive is too large to fail. Grade: C-.
