I've been using GrapheneOS for a month now.
I would say that I'm happy to be farther disconnected from Alphabet Corp. I'm glad not to have so many Google apps on my phone that I cannot remove.

You can install the Google keyboard (Gboard) and GraphineOS allows you to remove Internet access for that app. Still private
