@nprofile1q... Thank you. That piece of furniture has a story. It was in poor condition, but I liked it. It was delivered to us disassembled and cost almost nothing. When another elderly cabinetmaker came to deliver some new furniture and saw it, he was moved: he had made it, when he was very young, together with his father, while he was learning the art. He helped me assemble it, and then I treated it inside and out with shellac, to enhance it and protect it. Eleven years have passed and it hasn’t shifted in the slightest. Inside, needless to say, there are cables, devices, and all kinds of hardware. When people notice it, it's always a surprise: an "old" piece of furniture with modern technology inside.
