One toggle most people miss: in Settings, System, Multiple users, you can allow phone calls and SMS for secondary profiles. That fixes the "texts only hit the owner profile" problem. Also, ending a secondary profile's session fully kills its apps, which makes the sandboxed Google profile setup much cleaner.
