I'm in the same camp as you, and the stupid Epstein bullshit has only worsen it. So now, people really aren't going to tolerate the art genre now. Baraag has done all that it can possibly do for us. But the problem really lies within our art communities. You need powerful voices with a lot of influence that can create protection clauses for this sort of thing we do. And we have no such representation. Art platforms use to defend our right, then they all stopped doing this.
