Thanks! Yes that’s expected. That was actually the purpose of this workout. But longer rest or just walking between intervals is also very good if you’re more focused on dialing in that top to max effort, I think.
I took it straight from David Roches training plan so it has to be good 😅 Have done similar before and look forward to improve that heart rate chart on this one (seeing my heart rate come down lower). Also I didn’t post the terrain, but the second half of the intervals was upphill and the first half more downhill. That should also be taken into account.
But more importantly it felt like a good push! 😉
