Does windows 11 require a Microsoft acc or something? Tried setting up someone’s laptop and can’t seem to be able to bypass that step
Apart from the Rufus method there's another trick that works too: shift + F10 and localonly command...
Steps: Proceed through initial setup (language, region, keyboard) until the "Let's add your Microsoft account" or network connection screen. Press Shift + F10 (or Fn + Shift + F10 on laptops) to open Command Prompt.
Type start ms-cxh:localonly and press Enter. A local account creation window appears.
Enter a username, optional password, answer security questions, and complete privacy settings.
