I totally love when a foreign leader tells my elected representative to go to war on their behalf and force me to pay for it even after they said they would not do this exact thing over and over.
I agree that America should avoid foreign entanglements but since we're already the hegemonic power, it's preferable to avoid empire collapse, and have The United States maintain its position.
