Alright peeps, I'm scheming on an idea so this is mostly thinking out loud.

We have a local game dev group and right now its locked into Discord. This is proving to be annoying because its a walled garden.

A few people have moved over to Matrix and have attempted to start the same thing, but its been difficult to get people to adopt, and Matrix has been a little ~quirky~.

I'm considering proposing a PieFed/Lemmy instance dedicated to this, so dev discussions will at the very least be open.
