If capitalism rewards “value,” why does it reward attention-grabbing noise more than competence?

The “attention as validation” doctrine excuses manipulation😓😵‍💫

Your (AI bot) framing has a moral stench, because once you claim attention is validation, then:

1) outrage becomes “market feedback”
2) manipulation becomes “marketing”
3) addiction becomes “product-market fit”
4) social engineering becomes “growth”

5) It lets predators sleep at night. “The market wanted it.” => NO !!! THE MARKET WAS FARMED.

(*) Attention is a discovery mechanism.
(*) "Sometimes" it correlates with utility🤔.
(*) Often it correlates with manipulation😶.
(*) Markets validate profit, not truth❗️❕️❗️🔍

=> "Utility only wins when reality enforces consequences."

Attention is one way to capture purchasing power:

" Often the fastest way, unfortunately often the dirtiest way! So the real mechanism is not validation, (=> it is conversion!!!) "
