By being both deaf and hearing, I can appreciate visual stimuli (like this video) almost as pleasant, with chills down my spine, as hearing the crackling of a nearby fireplace.

Especially when I remove my hearing aids, putting me in a state of hearing absolutely nothing, and ASMR-esque visual experiences pop out with tinges of euphoria. That’s probably the best way I can explain it
