For long-form podcasts, do you prefer when pauses and filler words (um, like, etc) are edited out, or do you prefer the conversation completely unedited? Currently on nostr:npub10qrssqjsydd38j8mv7h2...

Leave the pauses in, if anything only edit out awkward mouth noises and replace with room tone.

Other mixing considerations:
- De-ess both guests. Nothing will make me turn off a podcast faster than harsh sybilance
- Match overall loudness of both host and guest using EQ/compression.
- Consider editing out or automating background noise with gates.

Be careful with gates, you can hear the popping. I don't listen to No Agenda anymore because of it.
