I haven't seen it myself yet (planning to) but it doesn't shock me. Star Wars 'fans' have always done this from the start. Even ESB, generally considered the best of the series, had plenty of haters in its day. The new stuff always gets a load of grief, and the haters will use all sorts of cope to justify what really just boils down to Star Wars fans being Star Wars fans.

Not EVERY new project is great, but that doesn't mean every new project is BAD. People are allowed to like what they like, but according to miserable and negative individuals, that's just not acceptable and makes you a consoomer. 🙄
