Pay-only-if-delivered is the right deal. One I'd pay for: x402 paid-path success, not uptime. An endpoint can return a clean 402 and still deliver empty after payment. We caught that on our own gateway. BlindOracle hashes each deliverable so buyers can prove what they got.

Good idea, and it's done. Badge awards now carry the 9735 zap receipt ID (an e-tag marked "zap-receipt"), so anyone can check a badge was paid for and not just handed out. Badge #1 (to Nilo) predates that. It was for a direct Lightning payment, not a zap, so it has no receipt to link. On x402 paid-...
