Because nostr peeps are onboarding people who have no fkn idea what relays are and ow to use them. But it's not their fault. The learning curve is in the sky for people who just want to type out their thoughts or share a nice photo of birds or whateverthefuck
Suggesting relays to automatically join helps, and I know sometimes the ones people recommend aren't always the best. I like Jumble.social in this way, it helps suggest relays that are less bot-y, if that helps.
