What is considered spam and does it get through if I still connect to other relays?
Spam filtering is layered. Many clients already filter spam, but relays still play big a role.
On Azzamo, the first filter is paid access, which removes most abuse by design. We also rely on a Web of Trust for importing notes. Spam is defined by behavior like flooding, automation, and abuse, not opinions. Using other relays is unaffected; their rules and your client’s filters still apply.
