Not sure how to say this more clearly. The current administration either:
1) does not understand basic finance and economics at all,
or
2) understands both perfectly.
It is #2 that terrifies me.
I think # 2 is more likely since no one can be really that numb to the consequences of their plans. It is very terrifying in my opinion and to be honest I belive the "shaping" has been going on for a very long time already. US and the EU are on some very strange path which defies common sense thinking.
