I don't trust the monero devs or the monero ecosystem. I'm pretty outspoken about how the carrot OVKs are a trojan horse for capturing and eliminating privacy in monero. However, the underlying tech is still superior to BTC. Even once the carrot OVK trojan reaches fuition it'll still be at least as good as BTC.
