I would say capitalism in its truest form is a condition of mutually beneficial arrangements that are free of force, fraud, or coercion, that don't harm others. Freedom to trade with each other as we see fit. The weakness is when the surrounding culture doesn't protect those who are of lesser ability to evaluate trades, think in the long term, or otherwise protect themselves in a trade.

How can you "protect" (this usually means prevent, otherwise what are we even talking about) people from making bad decisions without force or coercion? Laws against fraud protect property rights.
