I've a question for folk that use the vi keys h,j,k,l in everything including their window manager.
What do you then use the arrow keys for ?
I'm only asking as a h,j,k,l user as it seems like a waste...

Seriously though, both can be used together. Imagine a TUI app with two panes. {h, j, k, l} for the left pane, arrow keys for the right pane.
