For me, ditto.pub has the best feature set of the browser clients and is the worst at loading events. Maybe my relays are bad or something idk. But one of the best features is "open in njump". That almost always solves the unknown event issue.

Oh weird I meant to do a reply and quote the parent. But instead my note was a quote with no parent...?

Yeah I can't, the client doesn't expose the note ID.

Worth noting: njump is a centralized service. It's run by nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 who has skin in the game so it's probably not going anywhere.
