Fair question, I think I didnt use the best words to describe what I was thinking. Proximity matters, whether that's relational or geographical - the closer someone is, the more the impact when something bad happens. What I was trying to illustrate is that for generations there has been bad blood between #Portsmouth and #Southampton but, because of proximity, I feel really bad for these guys. For his family, too, especially, but this is a wound that will cut deep in my neighbouring town.
